WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
Our safari trucks are specially built to maximize the viewing experience, and it may be difficult for some people to get in and out of them. They are open-air vehicles and the seats are high off the ground, with steps to help people climb into them.
Guests get on and off the trucks 2-3 times to explore the grounds and taste the wines. There is some walking involved. As a precaution, if any guest has physical or mental impairments that could impair their ability to participate in the tour, it is highly recommended that they are accompanied by someone able to provide them with substantial assistance.
DO I NEED TRANSPORTATION?
We highly recommend brining a designated driver, calling an Uber, or booking a shuttle service. Please contact Performance Limo LA at (805)499-5666 who we often work with .
WHERE IS THE SAFARI LODGE LOCATED?
The lodge is located in the back of the main parking lot that Malibu Wines shuttles depart from. The parking lot entrance is on Mulholland Hwy., and has a large "MALIBU WINE SAFARIS" sign on the outside of it.
Do not take the shuttle, or you will end up at Malibu Wines.
Our address is 32111 Mulholland Highway, Malibu CA 90265.

WHAT IF OUR GROUP IS LATE?
Trucks will leave at their scheduled tour time. Guests who arrive late for their tour will not receive the full tour as advertised, and will not receive a refund. We HIGHLY recommend arriving AT LEAST 30 MINUTES prior to the tour start time.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
This is a Safari! We feed animals, as well as walk on lawns and loose gravel. Dress comfortably but keep safety in mind. Ladies, leave your heels at home.
ARE KIDS ALLOWED?
We do not allow children or young adults under the age of 21, except for on the Family Safari, which is offered on weekdays only. Children must be 7 years of age or older to accompany their parent(s) on the Family Explorer Safari.
WHAT ANIMALS WILL I SEE ON THE TOUR?
No two Safari tours are exactly the same, but you are likely to see American Bison, Zebra, Llamas, Alpacas, and a Scottish Highland Cow! Saddlerock Ranch is home to many more animals, like Stanley the Giraffe, who you can meet by booking a giraffe tour. Stanley is not visited on our regular explorer tours so that he stays healthy and doesn't get overfed.
